October 26, 2017 Electronic Ad
A few nice electronic ad images I found:
“The page cannot be displayed”
IE is everywhere.
Here’s the classic Internet Explorer "page cannot be displayed" error message, as displayed on the big electronic billboard at the East Palo Alto Ikea store.
For you non-IE users, it reads "The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings,"
The brightness of this image or something made the display jumpy, which is why it’s hard to read. Other ads (the ones that actually loaded π displayed fine.
My favorite part: the scroll bar at the bottom.
South Hall
The usual picture of the South Hall entrance, which I had forgotten to take on the first day. I think it’s the first time I attend that the huge central ad isn’t a Matrix-styled Atari ad.
#1361 Kimura (ει) sushi
• ζ¨ζ(Kimura) = lit. "wood village" is a family nameβe.g. ζ¨ζζε (b.k.a. γγ γΏγ―).
• ει(Kimura) is another way to write it. (KanjiDict lists dozens more.
Speaking of KIMUTAKU, this fun Japanese site (εε§εε) also lists
• ειζδΉ = Nagoya-based electronic organist
• ζ¨ζζδΉ = baseball player. The site says Hiroshima Carp, but he’s since moved to the Yomiuri Giants.
