how to attract new customers to your business
Images from The Black Country GIANT storytelling sessions. This exhibition took place between 1st and 19th February 2011 in the Community Art Space in the Queen’s Square Shopping Centre.

Adrian Johnson is artistic director of kindandgenerous productions and is a GIANT storyteller, poet and workshop leader. Based in Smethwick, Adrian was the city of Birmingham’s 14th poet laureate for 2009 – 2010 and is an English language storyteller. Working with family groups, schools and adults, his stories explore life in the UK’s beating heartlands, love of chocolate, jam and giant stories for little people with big imaginations. Adrian’s stories and verse explores how to be brave – when you least feel it and examines how young people can become their own ‘GIANT’ among men.

The Sandwell Arts in Queen’s Square project has been set up to support economic growth and aims to attract new customers and business to Queen’s Square Shopping Centre while promoting local artists and encouraging everyone to get involved in the arts.

Keep an eye out for the changing displays in the empty shop windows from local artists and community groups and get involved in some of the free arts activities organised in Shopping Centre.
