Are we who pretend to learn at na-tures feet to be behind the mere sports-men in this matter. Can we cry for anenquiry into the decreasing bird lifewith one face while with the other wecondone such articles as the one refer-red to? We interested agreat many of society people, some as chaperons andconductors and others to get up trolley parties. Weadvertised that we would charge only the regular fare, that the conductors would be instructed to return changeto each passenger unless they were told to keep it andthat no one need be afraid to ride on the decorated carsfor fear that it would cost them more than they wantedto give. We believed in advertising, which we did byputting banners on the cars several days before TrolleyDay. I will enclose a badge, showing the chaperons andconductors credentials for the day.
